This is the website of Mark Marchenko. I am a researcher and a writer with degrees in Linguistics, Cultural studies and Literature, including the MSc degree from the University of Edinburgh. My academic and professional interests are closely interlinked and include: language acquisition, heroism, Western history and literature, classical and renaissance philosophy, mediaeval military history, modern hybrid warfare and intelligence. Moreover, I write fiction in both English and Russian. My professional activities also include client work: market research, talent mapping, and executive search.
